Pump and Seal School
Delivery Systems
Business professionals can receive course curriculum at our central facility, through regional sites or at your plant. Course curriculum is also available globally through the worldwide web. Courses can be tailored to meet specific individual, plant site or company-wide needs.

Multi-level approach for integrated skills development
Our approach is to view industrial production from multiple levels in order to provide the best integrative approach to skills development. We work from the detail level of technology available, to the knowledge of the process or production model required, to the understanding of the business implications of accurate decision-making. With all levels addressed, our students can be directed to the levels that best suit their professional goals and meet the needs of their organizations.
Technology
Technology
The functional components of industry
Students are introduced to the nature and design of technology utilized in the specific area of instruction. Twin focus on competency-based instruction and hands-on laboratory work brings students to the next level in skills.

For the manufacturing professional
Work at this level is designed for the manufacturing professional. This may mean the equipment repair staff, the operational staff, or the professionals who assist them in achieving the best performance and reliability from the technology available. For professionals at this level, a deeper knowledge of technology, combined with system-wide benefits of interacting components can bring day-to-day as well as long-term production and economic benefits to the workplace.
Processes
Processes
The context of industry
The production unit on the manufacturing floor determines the appropriateness of any technology decisions. We work toward developing in our students the mental flexibility to evaluate technology, maintenance decisions and system reliability within the context of production goals and economies.

For the engineering professional
Engineering professionals will be enacting business decisions at the physical level of the production process. For theses professionals, a broader view of system variables and proven applications is desirable. New problem-solving skills can enhance both the speed and accuracy of their wider decision-making capabilities.
Business
Business
The bottom line of industry
Above the plant manufacturing level of decision-making are the tally and control of economic and business implications. We focus on understanding how to achieve business goals through exercising options in regard to technology and production processes.

For the management professional
Translating the abstract language of business into the nuts and bolts of production takes a clear understanding of the strengths and limitations of both. For management professionals, we offer concrete means to enact strategies to increase your Economic Value Added (EVA).
